Both a hit and a miss.

The staff was cute, offering warm cookies upon check-in! The breakfast was good, with a nice variety including tasty eggs and sausage that hit the spot!

The inconsistent cleanliness of the rooms left a sour note, with reports of unclean surfaces impacting the overall comfort .

My stay at Hampton Inns south was wonderful. The surrounding area was very nice and the staff friendly and helpful. My room was clean. Also the hotel is located not far from restaurants and shopping as well as downtown Indy . I will be staying here again on my next visit.

Couple looking for a decent stay

We had a two-night stay and there were definitely some highlights. The friendliness of the staff really shone through when they went out of their way to find us a room at night despite the late hour-total lifesaver! The breakfast was a solid spread too, with fresh fruit and hot options, made mornings a lot better.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but you know, sometimes you gotta pay for what you get, right?

Heat in room did not seem to keep up with cold and wind outside.

Rooms were comfortable, wifi reception good, breakfast was varied and very nice, very good staff and friendly.

The indoor pool was a great spot to relax after exploring, and the gym helped keep us active during our downtime. Just a heads up, our first room had some minor bedding wrinkles, but the staff quickly sorted it out and moved us to a better room 👍

The room was brand-new and had private bathroom plus a microwave oven and a refrigerator. Location: the hotel was near to the interstate and eateries, and shopping as well as in particular one which stays opened throughout the night.

My room was spotlessly clean and attractive, had a fairly clean bathroom.

The hotel is conveniently located near several attractions, including the NCAA Hall of Champions and the Children's Museum in Indianapolis. The room was spacious and had a huge fridge, perfect for storing snacks for the little ones.

In my wife's opinion, the breakfast could be more kid-friendly.

I loved how close the hotel was to a burger joint called Mucky Duck, perfect for a late-night snack after exploring the area.
